누구나 확인할 수 있는 데이터로 만든 0부터 100까지의 점수입니다. AI나 편집자 선정은 없습니다. 정해진 가중치를 사용하고 오래된 활동의 영향은 줄이며 점수가 만들어지는 과정을 공개합니다.
v1 Song / Release Index는 공식 뮤직비디오를 기준으로 곡을 추적합니다. YouTube, Apple Music, Circle Chart, Billboard Global 200, 음악방송 수상과 투어 활동을 사용합니다. Spotify는 준비 중입니다. 없는 데이터는 제외하고 나머지 가중치를 조정합니다.

아티스트 인덱스
아티스트를 더 안정적으로 보는 방법입니다. 대표곡과 팬층, 영상, 수상, 투어 데이터를 함께 사용합니다.
아티스트 역대 순위
All-time 탭은 천천히 움직입니다. 실시간 Song·Artist 점수와는 별개입니다. 아티스트 곡의 누적 도달 범위를 중심으로 하며 과거 차트 성적과 음악방송·시상 수상은 작은 비중으로 반영합니다.
추적하는 각 영상의 최신 누적 YouTube 조회수를 더한 뒤 같은 기준으로 환산합니다. 그래야 한 아티스트의 거대한 카탈로그가 다른 신호를 모두 덮지 않습니다. 곡의 도달 범위가 가장 큰 요소입니다. 데이터가 없으면 0으로 계산합니다. 차트와 음악방송 수상은 확인 가능한 기록을 사용하며 하나가 부족하면 다른 요소의 비중이 커질 수 있습니다.
정직하게 말하면 차트 기록은 계속 추가됩니다. 초기 All-time 결과는 앞으로의 결과보다 카탈로그 전체 조회수에 더 의존합니다.

추적하는 아티스트와 곡의 각 신호를 0부터 100까지 같은 기준으로 맞춥니다. 없는 데이터나 오래된 데이터는 제외하고, 남은 신호의 비중을 조정해 정보량을 보여드립니다.
03 · 오래된 활동의 영향 줄이기
최근 활동에 더 큰 비중을 둡니다. 오래된 조회수 상승과 음악방송 수상은 약 7일에 걸쳐 영향이 줄어듭니다.
04 · 더하기
정해진 비중에 따라 신호를 더해 각 곡과 아티스트의 0~100 점수를 만듭니다.
05 · 순위 매기기
오늘 결과를 가장 최근의 일일 결과와 7일 전 결과에 비교합니다. 이를 통해 상승, 하락, 신규 진입, 유지 여부를 보여드립니다.
06 · 결과 저장
각 순위 결과와 시간을 저장합니다. 실시간 순위는 가장 최근 결과를 사용하고, 주간 topkpop 100은 월요일 00:00 KST에 고정한 결과를 사용합니다.
가중치는 하나의 설정 파일에 있어 인덱스 작동 방식을 바꾸지 않고 조정할 수 있습니다. “글로벌 팬 균형”이 고정된 v1 기본값입니다. 출시 전 실제 한 주를 테스트해 팬들에게 익숙한 결과인지, 명확한 데이터 오류가 없는지 확인합니다.

K-pop 답변 →What is the topkpop Index?
The topkpop Index is a score from 0 to 100 for K-pop songs and artists. It uses things anyone can check, gives more weight to recent activity when it makes sense, and saves each result with its time.
How often does the topkpop Index update?
The Index uses the latest successful data in a daily refresh. Each source can update on its own schedule, so the time and amount of info shown with a rank tell you how fresh and complete it is.
Which signals feed the topkpop Index?
The live signals are how fast YouTube views are climbing, Apple Music chart position, Circle Chart position, Billboard Global 200 position, music-show wins, and touring activity for artists. Spotify popularity is planned, not live.
How are missing signals handled?
Missing or old data is left out. We never make it up. The other weights are adjusted, and the result shows how much info went into the score.
Why does a topkpop score change?
Scores change when public sources change or new data arrives. Older activity can also count less over time. A new mix of signals can change how much info we have and how the live score is built.
Is the topkpop Index an official chart?
No. The Index is our score from public data. It is not an official chart, award, or statement from an artist, label, platform, or chart provider.
How is the All-time Index computed?
The All-time Index ranks artists mostly by how far their songs have reached, with past chart success and music-show and award wins as smaller factors. We use total YouTube views for each tracked video. If we do not have catalog data yet, that part counts as zero. We do not pad the score to make up for it. Chart and win counts use the history we have. If one is missing, the other can count for more. We have more chart history over time, so early All-time results lean more on total views.
